Taming Ingrid on local TV! 9/14/05
Monica and Rhonda went and did a live acoustic performance and interview on the new show called FRESH LOOK! The show is aired in Los Angeles and surrounding areas on Channel 24 on the Comcast Cable network. Its a 30 minute show and we performed 2 songs! Hosted by: Natalie Worden! The show features local Los Angeles talent.

Tsunami Disaster Relief
As you all know, the Natural Disaster in Asia has taken
over 150,000 lives and caused destruction beyond comprehension.
This is a time where human acts of kindness are much
needed and appreciated.
As we are fortunate enough to have thousands of friends,
family and business relations reachable via email, we
are taking measures to reach out in the capacity of
a relief effort.
As you know, you can donate money and goods to many
organizations including the Red
Cross, Tsunami Disaster Relief Org, UNICEF
and others. We are additionally offering the Royal
Thai Consulate of Los Angeles.
The Royal Thai Consulate has been and will continue
to routinely send containers of donated goods via Thai
Airways to Phuket, Thailand for as long as it takes
to get back on track. The consulate has advised as to
what goods are most needed, and have made their drop
off destination easily accessible. The goods most needed
as of late include the following: tissue paper, sanitary
napkins, kitchen/cooking supplies, and money. We concede
that the economy has not necessarily been in favor of
most US citizens, and extra cash is hard to come by.
For this reason, your donations of thousands, hundreds,
or even $5 is much appreciated. Consider this: even
if 2000 people donate just $20 -- it quickly adds up
to $40,000. We can't bring back lives, but let's work
together to help our less fortunate friends get through
this devastating disaster.

should performance footage from one of our shows

BB King's. We also got to flex our journalistic muscles
when we hosted a segment of the show featuring the
launch
party for the 2004
Lingerie Bowl.

Taming Ingrid was invited by E! Entertainment to host a segment of their "Wild
On" series. The band went to Hollywood to attend the launch party
for the 2004 Lingerie
Bowl. E! was also on hand to interview Taming Ingrid and capture their
live show at B.B. King's Blues Club on July 24th. Look for the band on a future
episode of E! Entertainment's "Wild
On"

Los Angeles radio stations 95.5-FM KLOS, 106.7 KROQ, 97.1 KLSX and Arrow 93.1
are currently airing a Budweiser True Music commercial featuring Taming Ingrid. Listen

Taming Ingrid on MTV!
Listen for Taming Ingrid's music on the MTV
series "Sorority Life." TMI was spotted by MTV producers playing
on campus at UC Davis during the taping of the first season. Trina Coletti,
Music Supervisor for "Sorority Life" said, "'You Are All
That' fit perfectly for one of the scenes. I am really glad that we could find
a place for Taming Ingrid in the show. I am definitely looking forward to hearing
more music from the band!" She obviously liked what she heard because
Taming Ingrid made more appearances in the second
season of "Sorority Life" as well as the Sorority/Fraternity
Life preview show, "Meet the Greeks." |
